A Vision for Everyone
After updating my platform this weekend I decided to create a more concise way to get out just as much information but in the fraction of time, and hopefully a little more entertaining. Please check out my quick-time version of my vision for next year!
What an amazing experience this has been so far! I’ve had the pleasure of meeting such an assortment of passionate, motivated and enthusiastic people and I am excited at the prospect of representing them in the coming year.
Thank you to all those that have sent personal emails, messages and have stopped me on campus to discuss the issues that are most important to you. I’m in the process of reworking my platform to represent those strongest needs and to bring further clarification to those that already exist so please check again in the coming days.
If you are new to the site please check out the growing number of Clubs & Services videos to see just how diverse the opportunities on our campus are. There are more videos in progress so check back every few days for more that have been uploaded. If you are a club or service on campus and want to use this opportunity to promote yourself please let me know and we can set up a time to meet. Thank you to all of the clubs and services I have already had the pleasure of meeting. It is great to see your passion in action!

Hi there! My name is Jenna Goodhand and I’m really glad you’ve taken the time to check out my campaign site. If we don’t know each other yet I hope after you read through my site you feel comfortable emailing me to introduce yourself or come up and talk to me if you see me on campus.
The Federation of Students is here “to serve, empower and represent the undergraduate students at the University of Waterloo.” I think they’ve been doing a really great job in a lot of key areas but there is always room for improvement. I think I could bring a new flavour of enthusiasm and dedication to the executive team as your next VP Internal.
The role of VP Internal is to support clubs and services while helping them thrive and excel at meeting the needs of students on our campus. We are all so diverse in our personal needs, interests and the way we each choose to spend our time that it only makes sense that our clubs and services on campus offer us the opportunities to make the most of our time at Waterloo and help create the connection for the successful lives ahead of us.
I’ve got some really exciting ideas for what I’d like to implement if given the opportunity to be your next VP Internal but I bet you have a lot of great ideas too and I’d love to hear them! With your support I hope to be elected with VP Internal as a title, but I am running in this campaign to work with you to make the University of Waterloo a place that we all feel safe and satisfied spending our most challenging years at and one we can be proud to call home.
